Design - Extra Credit

Imagine
yourself as a design engineer. You are faced with the task
of coming up with a new design for a T-shirt. The possibilities
are endless. You could create a design from scratch, mock
a design already on the market, or combine your own ideas
with existing ones to get a “new and improved” design. What
ever route you choose, there are a few things you need to
consider.
GRADING PROCEDURE
This extra
credit activity is a grade booster. A grade booster is an
activity where you can earn up to a total of 30 points,
(in this case 30 points) to add towards any grade you have
received this term. In order to receive all 30 points you
must meet all of the criteria below.
IMPORTANT:
A grade booster activity can only be submitted for points
once!

HINTS
-
Always select fonts that are easy to read

Think of creative ways to use text and
graphics together, blending, wrapping text,slanting text,
extruding or 3-D. etc.

Use colors that compliment each other.

Use graphics that are eye catching and
unique

Consider designing a front and a back
for your shirt
-
When ready to print ask the teacher for
help, there are special commands and paper that must be
used.
